John & Juana are the fusion between two cultures and one love, they want to provide guests with an experience they will never forget.
Originally from Atglen, PA, executive chef John Ward was lured into the culinary world when his passion for this industry and for food was recognized at an early aged, helping out at his grandfather's farm in nearby Steelville Pa. John went on to study culinary arts at Yorktowne Culinary Institute, shortly after graduating he spent a couple years working outside of London.
He continued with his career at upscale boutique hotels such as Keswick Hall & Hotel Emma.
John's culinary philosophy and passion reflects the growing trend towards a healthier and down to earth life style. John's preference is to allow the natural flavors of food to express themselves.
Working with local farms to seek out the finest and local products, is the essence of his cuisine.
Juana grow up between washing dishes and carrying trays. She started working on her family's restaurant at the age of 13, where her passion for food and guest service kept growing strong. She attended culinary school in Argentina & did her internships at a resort in the White Mountains. This is where her and John first met.
